Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Daddy, Kim, Andy (Kim's friend), Grant, Brittany, Parker, Greg and I were all together. I made Grandmommy Peery's dressing and mom's pumpkin pie. It was all so good if I say so myself. HA!
Kim took this picture for us. I think she made us all look pretty good.
Hope everyone had a special day as well.

Thanks for participating in this blog. Love you guy!

Before and After

Here is a picture from the kitchen from before and then one after. Although it will look much better in my opinion after a hood is installed. I will post a picture once it is up....

The Peery House

Here is the ad/business card I have for the holiday season.

Tina Harper made it for me and I could not be more pleased! Unless the picture faded in the background was actually *the peery house*!

Cooking there is so much fun...it just feels right, ya know. I can't describe it really. I just know it is like home....which makes some sense in a way.
Just wanted you to share it with you all!
I love the idea of this blog....now I just have to get Mom and Dad set up to view it. (viewing it is not the hard part...navigation is the issue! LOL )
Merry Christmas!!!

Another Peery Road pic

Okay, I was wrong. This is actually JERRY ROAD. But Jerry is the last official Peery. So I would say it counts. We all know that Peery Road is right across from Grandmommy's house. My bad.

What a great idea!!

Gina and all, I'm so excited that we have a way to stay connected! Great idea. First the Peery House, now the Peery Post...what will we come up with next? I see Peery Foods in our future Kris, Aunt Pat? Maybe a Peery Music CD, Kim? Love you all out there!

Peery Road

I forgot...besides the Peery house and the Peery Post, there's also Peery Road, (the road Kris and Gaylon live down). This picture was lovingly taken of us by one of the talented photographers in our family, Taresa!

You Are Invited!!!!!!

You are invited to be apart of the "Peery Post" . This is a blog that Grant helped me create inorder for us (Vernon & Ruth Peery's children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren) to stay in touch.
Since my visit to NY with the family, I felt like we needed to stay intouch better. With this day in time we have the means to do this and should. So this is our chance.
All you have to do is :
1. Set up a password only for you to know
2. Log In
3. Follow the first post for instructions.
If there are members of the family that haven't been invited, it is only because I don't have their email address. Let me know and we can invite them and they can contribute, too.

Test

This is a test to see if everything is set up for posting in this new blog!
